Toe the Impaler

Jan 15, 2012 09:47

Jackson was over last night, so we decided to play a game together. We spread things out on the floor in the TV, and as I slide down from my chair onto the floor, I felt a piercing jab in the tip of one of my toes (left foot, second toe). My grandmother had apparently dropped one of her sewing needles on the carpet, and my toe found it.

This wasn't just a little prick, either. My momentum drive the dull end of the needle into my toe until it hit bone, then jammed the other end of the needle into the floor, bending the needle.

I plucked it out. Damn, did it hurt. Still does. Every time I'd roll over last night, my foot would push against the covers at the bottom of the bed and the resistance would hurt. Ouch, ouch, ouch.
