august commissions
Hello everyone! welcome to my last commissions before school starts! after this there will only be two or three slots every month, and depending on what kind of working area i'll have up at school (i still don't know ;0;) this may be the last time until next april i'll be offering big plush.
that being said, i'm opening 6 slots for either a 6 inch, $200 plush, or a 1-2' $300-$375 plush. each of these slots can be claimed for either of those plush, which means i may have 6 big plush to make this month, or no big plush at all, or any combination of the two, depending on what people want. ALSO i'll have four slots that can either be for dress up animal style plush, or mini (minky or teddy bear jointed) plush. a lot of options, i hope that's all not too confusing!
GENERAL PAYMENT INFO:
for all plush, i require at least $50 up front before i start working. (or just the full cost if it's less than $50, or like... $52 or something.) other than that you can split up payment however you would like, as long as it fits into the following criteria.
for the dress up animals and 6 inch plush, i would like to have payment in full either by the time i finish your plush or in a month, whichever comes later. since these plush are so close to me starting school (september 13) a few of them may take longer than a month. it would be stellar if you could still just plan on being able to pay for them in full by the thirteenth, but if you're a little worried you might need longer than that, i'd be happy to put your plush at the end of the list. but if it'll take you closer to two months to be able to pay for things, it would be best to just hang tight until the next time i open commissions. (which will probably be as soon as i finish these ones since i will need to buy food lol)
for the bigger plush:
generally i'm ok with having a longer payment plan for these. since i will want to finish whatever big plush commissions i have before i go to school to be sure i have the resources to do so, i would appreciate it if you would at least be able to pay $200 of the total cost by september 13th. after that, if you could pay the rest of it by the end of september that would work best. if we really have to i'm sure we can work out a longer payment plan, but like... i don't want to be packing and taking 5 big plush with me up to school, that might be a hassle.
AND if you pay in full up front, i WILL put your plush first in line, or at least right behind everyone else that paid in full before you did. the payment method i use is paypal.
WITH ALL THAT BEING SAID i am understanding, and if you fully intended to pay me within a month/by september and something unforseen comes up that requires your money I UNDERSTAND. don't be afraid to let me know that you'll be a little late in paying me. i know stuff can happen sometimes, and usually that stuff takes priority over paying for a commission on time. i'm always happy to work out a longer payment schedule if something like this happens, just make sure you communicate, and let me know in a timely manner that you won't be able to pay right away. i'm happy to accommodate so long as i don't have to turn debt collector and send you a message every month reminding you that you owe me money and haven't said anything for a while.
but i do depend on getting paid in a timely manner, and i in turn finish your plush in a timely manner. so if at all possible do try to pay me on time <3

BIG PLUSH:
oftentimes i get people wanting a character in a specific outfit or something. i'm fine with including a scarf and/or hat kind of thing in the cost of either the 6 inch plush or the bigger plush, but any extra clothes for the dress up animals will cost extra ($10 for scarf, $15 for hoodie, anything else i will come up with a price for, especially anything that requires real pattern making)
if you want a full blown costume for your bigger plush, like a coat or pants/shirt, basically any kind of uniform/outfit, it'll cost an extra $25. if your character is very simple, and most of the design is just clothes, (like a plain white dog wearing a shirt and pants or whatever) then i can include it in the price. but if it's an average complexity plush with clothes on top of that, then i'll charge the extra $25. it might be a little more/less depending on complexity in some cases.

- $40 each
- you can get either a teddy bear jointed style plush, or a minky plush. for the most part i can make a character work in either style, but i do have kind of limited color choices with my teddy bear style fabric. also the body shapes that work best are characters with simple bodies and normal legs (like dogs, cats, bears, etc.) minky, on the other hand, i can do most anything, and i have basically every color under the sun. i'll let you know if your character choice won't work in one of the styles, but generally just let me know which style you want.
- these end up being 3" tall at the tallest, but usually somewhere between 1.5"-2.5"
- the style of these plush is non-negotiable. they're going to be a pretty simple body style, with minimal details, and beads for eyes. sometimes i can find different colored beads, but usually they're just black bead eyes. because these plush are so small, i do require a lot of artistic freedom to make them work at this price.
- if you want more control over details/specifics, or if you want detailed sketches of the design before i start, a 6 inch or bigger plush is probably a better choice for you.

- as you can see, these guys have a pretty standard design. they're about 7 inches tall not including any ears or other details, and they have very simple faces/embroidered details. i won't do anything fancy with the eyes, basically just any design that is one solid color. which tends to be just dots, but as you can see with the unicorn/horse guy up top i can do slightly different things as well.
- the character you want has to fit pretty easily within the body/arms/legs pattern that all of these plush have. if it's too complicated, i can't do it in this style and you'll just have to get a 6 inch plush (see below) but i've done a whale and a moth, so we can probably make something work.
- you can expect a price of $36-$41 for remakes of existing designs, (x) $40-$50 for a regular animal that i can later duplicate and sell in my shop if i want, and $50-$70 for original characters/licensed characters that will not be duplicated for sale in my shop.

- i can make just about anything with this slot, unless it is crazy complicated and has too many details to fit into this size of plush. but in that case i am happy to make a simplified style like pokedoll or something
- I'M NOT LIMITED TO POKEMON! i love to make people's OC's. and i love to do pet portraits too!
- i'm happy to make ANY style you can think up. i'm not limited to pokedoll or canvas or pokemon time styles, but those are definitely options.
- i need at least some kind of reference, (results from a google image search is just fine) and if you feel so inclined to draw a turnaround for me that would be fabulous! but not required.
- if you want a specific size (like you want it to fit in with your pokedoll/canvas plush collection so you want it a little smaller than 6", or you want it to be as big as the 6" size restraint will allow) just let me know. otherwise i'll decide. (i usually try to make pokedoll style ones fit the pokedoll size, and otherwise i make it either 6 inches long or 6 inches tall)
- basically 6 inches means when i'm finished it will fit in the 6x6x6 shipping boxes i have for them. so if making it 6 inches tall will make it a foot long i'll make it a little shorter than 6 inches. hope that all makes sense haha
BIG PLUSH:
- price depends on complexity of the plush
- size isn't exact. i'm not going to make anything taller than two feet for this slot (unless it's something like it would be 2.5 feet if it were standing but it's a sitting plush and it's only 1 foot while sitting) (those are really long legs) basically i'm just going to make it whatever size seems to look the best with the plush design, and also whatever size doesn't look too small to be considered a "bigger" plush. but it'll be somewhere between one and two feet tall.
- basically all of this stuff is up for negotiation so we'll talk abut it.
- oh, and i may not be able to do some embroidered features on these bigger plush, just because the design is limited to 4"x4". most eyes and stuff will fit within those parameters , but if the design has weirdly huge eyes they might not fit. but if they're weirdly huge that means i'll be able to be more detailed with the applique technique so it shouldn't matter much.

- highest price is $375
- SHIPPING will be $10 inside the US and $40 outside of the US. i'm going to send it first class shipping, which is actually something like $25 internationally, but i want to be absolutely sure it's covered in case there's something weird. so i charge $40, and then once it's shipped if it's a lot less i will refund you the difference. i would appreciate if you paid for the shipping when i'm done with the plush even if you paid for the rest of the cost up front, since that way it's just easier to keep my shipping and supplies money straight. if you have to pay it all up front though that's ok.
