Solomon Kane
Watched it only because it looked half-interesting, had quite an interesting plot premises and that's pretty much it. And it also starred the guy who played The Black Prince of Whales in A Knight's Tale with Heath Ledger and the girl who played Wendy in Peter Pan who grew into a looks like WHOA!

I actually really like movies that have friendship/family themes. So this movie chronicling around the lone wolf guy going around all by his onesies for the entire movie takes off a few points in my book. I thought they shouldn't have killed the kid in the beginning and despite it actually being a decent movie, that killed it for me.

The Losers
Watched for Jeffrey Dean Morgan, stayed for Chris Evans. Jeffrey Dean Morgan (a.k.a. Sir a.k.a. John Winchester a.k.a. the guy who looks like Javier Bardem-or it should be the other way around) is an amazing actor and while I'm not the type of person who gets attracted to older men, HE IS ONE DARN ATTRACTIVE OLDER MAN. So it's only natural that I went to see his movie, which quickly became Chris Evans' movie. I have no lost love for the guy. I don't even find him attractive. But his shit was hilarious in the movie. I no longer hear Don't Stop Believing in the same way.

This movie would have been your average, epic action movie if it wasn't intentionally such an epic action movie that border lined into parody. And I'm not talking about your everyday stupid parody like Scary Movie; this was actually, if I were to describe it in an oxymoron nutshell; an intelligent parody. It's a whole different category of movie and I just don't know how to describe it.

Zoe Saldana is also another case of an Avatar lead's redundancy proven (the other movie being Sam Worthington as Perseus in Blasphemy of the Titans).

Ironman 2
Didn't watch Ironman in the cinema. Felt no need to. I got the DVD for free because someone left it and I really enjoyed it. It jump started my interest in superhero movies. Ironman 2 is another case of sequel's epicness outshining the actual movie. I liked it when I watched it, but looking back on it I can't remember anything that I particularly liked in the movie. And number one redundant point of the movie was replacing Terrence Howard with Don Cheadle. I hate replacing characters in movies; it ends up being uncomfortable to watch, especially in The Dark Knight because while I like Katie Holmes as far as I can toss her, any Christian Bale scenes with Maggie Gyllenhaal looked like he was schmoozing his Aunt Mildred.

Do not want. Glad she kicked the bucket in the end. (Another redundant character-kill was replacing Rachel Lafevre with Bryce Dallas Howard in Eclipse. Killed Victoria for me, literally and figuratively.)

Prince of Persia
I watched this movie three times in the cinema and would have watched it again if it was still showing. I rate movies I really like this way. I watched Alexander four times (and it remains my all time favourite movie), I watched POTC: At Worlds End, a personal record breaking six times. It was my mom's favourite movie. By the sixth time I barely resisted the urge to toss my breakfast, lunch AND dinner THEN throw my shoe at the screen every time Keira Knightly's face came on screen.

I mentioned before that I really enjoy movies that center around family bond and friendship, and this movie has it in bucket loads. Also just the whole outline of the movie. A street rat adopted by the king who has shockingly ABSOLUTELY NO ULTERIOR MOTIVES for his action and is actually a really swell guy who LOVES his children EQUALLY. It's like practically unheard of in this age of deceit and lies. And Dastan's brothers; Garsiv has his own personal issues which is pretty understandable being the middle child and all, and Tus who Dastan loves and respects, loves and respects his back with ABSOLUTELY NO ULTERIOR MOTIVES.

This must have been the secret title of the movie, or one for the limited release blue-ray DVD; Prince of Persia: NO EXPECTED ULTERIOR MOTIVES HERE FOLKS (available for limited time only.)

An interesting thing I realized after I finished watching this movie, was that Tamina; the obligatory female lead who is actually a deceiving, conniving and closeted pick-pocket is played by the same girl who played the BADFIC MARY SUE in Blasphemy of the Titans. I really loved her character in this movie.

And Dastan; although it's insanely shallow for me to say this, is played by Jake Gyllenhaal. YOUR ARGUMENT IS VOID!

Incase I have not yet made it clear. I LOVE Prince of Persia despite it's lackluster reception, but that's just like me. I love the characters, the theme, the plot and after you have read the story Garsiv's Third Nipple, you will never look at Garsiv the same way again.

Shrek Forever After
Shrek was fun. Shrek 2 introduced Puss in Boots therefore your argument is once again void. Shrek Forever After is somewhere between the first and the second one. Once again, standout character of the movie is without a doubt, Puss in Boots, or as his name in this sequel Puss Exploded Out Of Boots.

There were some good parts, some boring parts and some parts that were juuuuuust right, but for the entire movie I though Rumplestiltkins was voiced by Jack Black. But getting back to Puss in Boots, like Mads Mikkelsen, he would probably be the only reason I watch it again.
