So after helping Patrick haul some construction materials from his house to the Dump we went to lunch in St. Paul and decieded that we didn’t want to bring over the second load today, he would do it again someother day.
So off to the Zoo we go. I have never been to the
Como Park Zoo so we decieded to do that, much more of a traditional Zoo than the
Minnesota Zoo and reminds me of a smaller version of one of zoo’s I visited in my youth, the
Brookfield Zoo near Chicago.
It was still a bit cold for the animials to be frolicking outside, so we had to go inside the habits to see them play, of course the spider monkeys were the most active and the tiger was proweling outside (the only animial I saw outside) but the tigers were resting nicely inside.
One thing I saw was something I always got at the Zoo’s as a child, that is a
mold-o-rama wax statue as you can see in that picture, they were on 25 cents in the past, now they are $2 but I still got one as a nice piece of my childhoold remebered. Mine is a blue Polar Bear
Fun time at the Zoo and Plant conservatory, I will definietly go back.
