I am the mother of an autistic child
Today we had Bailey's evaluation and she was diagnosed with high functioning autism. Our next step is getting her into a therapy based preschool and getting her an ABA therapist who comes to our house or even goes on outings with us to help her through the process. Even with potty training! PRAISE THE LORD.
I'm sad but I'm hopeful. She's incredibly bright and can get through this and thankfully there are many options to help us meet her goals.
