(no subject)
living at ledgewood has made me feel more distant and isolated than i did when i was in hong kong. it's a good kind of chosen isolation though, the reason people build vacation homes on mountains or islands. last night i rode a horse for the first time ever and it was pretty good. later a group of us went night swimming and then stayed up late playing cards and talking. i came home early-ish this morning, partly because the power was out but mostly because i need to do laundry like none other.
tonight i'm taking deedz to a show in lakewood (peter's roommate's band) and then maybe back to camp???
the first campers arrive tomorrow. things are gonna get crazy.

fyi -- my cell phone is just about the only way to reach me these days. call me and i promise to call you back. i'm only online about once a week and have been ignoring facebook and myspace and all that other stuff....
