[Daniel takes back the stylus after juuuust a moment's hesitation. Oh, Quinn. You simultaneously terrify and intrigue him. Clearly this is the beginning of a rad bromance.]

O-oh, um, thank you. I suppose they would, yes, given the amount of universes and the theoretically technological possibilities a-and... yes. Um. This isn't much, I'm afraid. Fairly standard.

Here's the thing. I've got a special somethin' that makes it a hundred times better for me, ya see. An ability, power, whatever ya wanna call it. I can talk to machines. Kinda like telepathically. So it's really cool that here, I get to talk to things I've only dreamed about.

That's... that's amazing! Were you born with it or d-did it develop over time?

[Damn right that's amazing. Quinn loves the fact that he can just tell people all this openly in Mayfield.]

Born, but we don't come into it for a few years. Tends to start early in my family, but I was a late bloomer. I was about 8. Also, my ability is pretty rare. I know a lotta mages, but I've only heard of other technomancers. Never met any.

I've never m-met anyone who could do that, except androids or cyborgs, and th-they had to actually interface through a wire of some sort. I...

[He looks down at his computablet, and then back up at Quinn.]

Is it... is he? she? saying anything? Or do they only talk if y-you talk first?

Well, if ya don't mind, I have to touch it to do so. And funnily enough, sometimes they sound like a girl, sometimes a guy... but I find that usually has to do with their owner. Like, if ya named it, or somethin' like that.

O-oh, well, um. I don't mind, no.

[He holds out the computablet, because Quinn touching it while it was being clutched to Daniel's chest would be kind of super awkward.

Yeah? Alright then. Thanks, man.

[He takes it, looking it over, and then says hello. Quinn can operate the tablet without touching anything; he'll just talk to her and do it that way, asking nicely if he can see this or that. He'll also check to see if there's anything wrong, something he can fix. Maybe she's running slower than she can, or has something like spyware he can get rid of. Outwardly, Quinn just watches the tablet, smiling. He LOVES doing this kind of stuff.]

[Quinn will find himself conversing with a rather bubbly-sounding female voice! Germanotta is very eager to be helpful and is oh-so-impressed that he's asking her to do things politely. No spyware, luckily, but she does have some useless background tasks cluttering things up.

Daniel, of course, merely watches. He's obviously very impressed by what Quinn's doing, even if it looks to him as though Quinn's just standing there smiling.]

[Quinn is always a gentleman, even to computers. Charisma is how he gets them to do what he wants. He'll get those cleaned up and get her running faster than ever before saying goodbye, and handing her back to Daniel.]

What a sweetheart! Ya seem to be treatin' her well enough too.
