It looks like an iPad, it looks like a tablet, but it's actually... kind of like if those two things had a baby and the baby were bright lime green. You can find him in the park with it, taking pictures of and notes on all the flora and fauna that are long extinct in his world. This has probably resulted in him being chased by an angry goose more than once, if the peck marks on his arms are any indication, but he seems to be in good spirits nonetheless.]

[Working at the Pet Shop is actually one of the highlights of Daniel's day... mostly because he can just sit in the aquatics section and talk to the fish. They are very good listeners, okay!

I recently received m-my computablet, which works w-well as a recording device, a-and I thought it would be a good idea to... to record this s-sort of thing. The longer you're here, the m-more chance you have to be permanently droned, r-right? So... we have to preserve the eyewitness accounts that we c-can. So that... so that if w-we ever get out, people will know what w-went on, even if...
