ok this dream follows a terrible night of sleep. I dont know where this is coming from. Nancy and I had an argument over the summer but not like this.
I don't remember how this starts but for one reason or another Im arguing with Nancy. This is a bad argument, huge. She has friends over 1 girl 2 boys. I make my case and argue as best I can but no matter what I do they don't believe me and consider me a nuance and for the most part try to stay out of it. I keep trying but nothing works. At one point her friend mouths to Nancy, "at my house this isn't possible I consider this extremely disrespectful". I answer that no doubt I believe her because the filipino culture is very strict where the eldest is given absolute respect, she added something about women running the household, and I agree to that as well and she passes me on her way to the bathroom. I try to talk to her to plead my case but she just brushes me off. I ask her to wait and she closes the door. I shout, "I have a point to make" and Nancy says, "Oh she has a point". I feel like Im arguing for hours but I get nothing but more and more embarrassed. I don't know why I didn't just stop talking and leave the house or something.... I just keep going. At one point to like shut me up and keep me out of something they begin to play a game. They throw a stuffed animal across the room over to where I am standing to hit me but Im not supposed to touch it. The point of the game is to reach over grab it and start anew. I tried to stand up for myself by grabbing the stuffed animal and said, "HEY!" to the friend but she just said, "WHAT!" and like that shut me up. And then all of a sudden our house (which I don't recognize) has turned into a party. Apparently Nancy graduated highschool and tons of people are over. This is huge like a movie or something. I start trying to hit on these guys telling them that Im graduating soon and need cool places to be at 10am like them. Im sitting on a counter at one point and this guy picks me up off the counter. For some reason I have leg weights on. Puts me down and I walk over to another side of the house. I need a napkin. I ask this guy to hand me one but what I thought was a napkin bag is a bag of sliced ham. I just rinse my hands in water.
