The viva was just an utter waste of time. It was as stressful as a proper exam with no feedback or reward. Idiots!
I signed all my forms today, so pretty soon I will be EMPLOYED. The plan is to work part time while I'm finishing off my degree then start full time when I can. I'm so so happy about this, it's like a huge weight has been lifted, I can now think about things I'd like to do or things I'd like to buy without feeling guilty and worrying about getting into debt.
I have a pretty small student loan compared to most people because a) my course fees were paid by the NHS. b) I was given a bursary of about £1000 per year which I don't have to pay back and c) becuase I was entitled to a bursary I could only have the minimum loan, £2k per year of which I have just under £4 in a savings account. I might get a new car with it in the future, I could prolly get £1500/£2000 for her, maybe more, I haven't looked into it yet.
Oh, I also bought a tom tom thing which is the best thing ever. I was out doing school hearing screening this afternoon somewhere north of Oldham and I wouldn't have had a clue how to get home otherwise.
It's MFR this thursday, it's the day before bank hol too which means there will be lots of people out. Brilliant!
