1. Is cursing really that unattractive? I don't notice much of a difference. From my experiences, whether I've cursed like a sailor or kept my language clean, the guy didn't seem to care. Personally, I don't mind profanity. On the other hand, I was raised around military folk, and some of them have S.P.M. (severe potty-mouth. :-p)
is burping really that gross? Any sort of surplus gas release is considered gross, regardless of sex. However, they're both natural phenomena, and, therefore, are ultimately unavoidable. However, if one attempts to be obnoxious while releasing either gas, it's generally seen as unattractive. But, as my mother used to say, "It's better to urp a burp and bear the shame than squelch a belch and die of pain."
oh giiiirl you're going to get varied results on this one. I'm not a guy but this is what I say. Burping is fine. (you should know I would say this =D) In fact I think those lists are ridiculous in general... Cursing is weird however. They're words that shouldn't bear some meaning/effect but they do and are affective. They are only truly affective though when used sparingly and when you really feel the need to express something. Otherwise if somebody casually uses profanity all the time, to me it carries negative vibes and makes me feel like that person is more cynical/critical than most and wouldn't mind saying mean things about people which I don't like. I KNOW that's not always true but thats my first impression sometimes and I think the negative vibes thing just might be a feeling of other people too. I dunno guys probably really don't think the way i do. totally disregard this message. really. . .
I can't decide whether it's interesting or horrifyingly sad that the primary suggestions for the boys were behavioral and geared towards getting them to treat women nicely, (hold the door, don't touch your junk in front of a lady, etc) and the suggestions for the girls were largely geared towards making them more physically attractive, in looks and odor. Although assigning household chores to the women doesn't surprise me one iota, since the vast majority of the households I've lived in have contained males who couldn't find the vacuum or the dishwasher if you poisoned them and stuck the antidote in it

Cursing, is unattractive on anyone, male or female.
