Okay, guess that hiatus was a semi-lie. <3 Great to be back on!

This week has been INSANITY. By tomorrow I'll have spent over 53 hours at school. That means an average of 10.6 hours a day. OH JUNIOR YEAR, YOU'RE LOVELY. XD

So we went today to a college competition for jazz and I think it went really well. It was awesome because they have a JOHN ( Read more... )

That totally sucks about the board meeting. :/ I remember my school tried to do a lot of cuts when I was there and tons of us got mad and spoke up. I remember my Mom and I were the reason my amazing choir teacher got hired!!! :D We were being taught by the band director and it was just horriable my freshman year. I had just come out of a great middle school choir and I knew we needed someone who could take us futher with music so I complained to my Mom and then she took over and explained to the board about how much farther we could go with the right vocal director. My Mom went to a different high school than my Dad, my brother, and I and at her's they went to so many competitions and got Superior raitings and even recorded a Christmas album/cassette (which we transfered to CD a few years ago). :D

So the board listened and my amazing choir director Miss. Chute came and she is just awesome!!! :D We are still friends today and I talk to her on FaceBook all the time and still go back and visit. ;) We went got 1s at District and State!!! :D Learned how to sight-read sheet music, which is how I can now play piano with sheet music. ;) They even expanded to have 3 different levels of choirs. :) Also got to go to solo/ensemble and had some of the best times those 3 years in high school!!! :D

I hope things don't get cut and hopefully work out better.

I'm sorry too about your bf's mom. I totally agree with you. ;)

And that's awesome about the college competiton and the John center!!! :D

Thanks so much! I'm so glad to hear that you were able to have such great influence on your school board's decisions. That's really great to hear, and very inspiring. :)
