Getting back to where I once belonged :D
Okay, guess that hiatus was a semi-lie. <3 Great to be back on!
This week has been INSANITY. By tomorrow I'll have spent over 53 hours at school. That means an average of 10.6 hours a day. OH JUNIOR YEAR, YOU'RE LOVELY. XD
So we went today to a college competition for jazz and I think it went really well. It was awesome because they have a JOHN LENNON CENTER run by YOKO ONO. I'm not kidding!!! :D <3 And on the way home, we stopped at John Coltrane's house, which is apparently about 15 minutes from my house. How I never knew, I have NO CLUE. XD
It's weird, but I think one reason today was so nice was just to get a break from my bf. I mean, not that I don't love him to bits, but sometimes I really miss being so stubbornly independent 24/7 and just having so much fun, being carefree and single. I only hope I never lose that attitude.
On Tuesday (which seems like 3 years ago cuz of this ginormous week), his mom was driving us to the Board of Ed meeting so we could advocate our music and basically insulted EVERYTHING about me and said that kids are nothing and can't develop their own opinions because they don't yet have the intelligence and should always just follow their parents.
Well I'm not the one to usually do this, but I started SCREAMING at her, saying how my parents were never there and still really aren't and how I've done everything solo, and they've never encouraged me or made me do anything, but here I am with thousands of extracurrics and a 99 GPA. I literally just burst into tears. My boyfriend didn't notice. Smooth.
Anyways, it looks like they're cutting a shitload of programs next school year, and so many terrible things happened in that board meeting, I just felt so sick by the end.
But here I am now, happy it's almost Friday, and since my birthday is this Tuesday(!! 8D) I treated myself to the AMAZING soundtrack of Velvet Goldmine, which is the best movie ever (kindasortanotreally) with Ewan McGregor and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as bisexual glam rockers, guhhhh <3
So I prob won't be back on till Sunday, but love you guys so much <3
