Plot Bunnies Attack
Guys, GUYS. I have come up with a brilliant idea that someone needs to work on immediately. Supernatural fandom, Dean/Cas vid set to Taylor Swift's "Mine." Come on, you're telling me that the line, "you made a rebel of a careless man's careful daughter" isn't 100% Cas talking to Dean?
I just checked youtube, I am like 90% sure that no one has done this yet.
Random scenes that popped into my head while listening:
-"left a small town, never looked back": any scene where Dean's in the Impala
-"fear of falling": scene of Cas looking terrified in the brothel
-"if it never lasts: scene from 5X03 of Cas making that skeptical face at Dean when Dean fixes his tie
-"lying on the couch": since this comes up more than once, one time is Cas on the couch in 5X17 (the one with the prophet), and one time is Dean and Cas on that bench in "Great Pumpkin"
-"we were sitting there by the water, you put your arm around me for the first time": first time, Dean putting his arm around Cas outside the brothel; second time, Cas putting his arm around Dean to protect him from the glass and Raphael; or, even better, the scene in Dean's dream where he's fishing at the lake and Cas is next to him
-"rebel of a careless man's careful daughter": any scene where Cas is doing rebellious stuff
-"mine": could show the handprint on Dean's shoulder
-"flash forward and we're taking on the world together": obvious, scene from 5X04, maybe when they all walk into Detroit with guns
-"we got bills to pay": Dean giving Cas the money in 5X03
-"and I remember that fight, 2:30 AM, 'cause everything was slipping right out of our hands, I ran out crying, and you followed me out into the street, braced myself for the goodbye, 'cause that's all I've ever know, but you took me by surprise": the entire scene in the Green Room and their fight- first, the fight, punch, etc.; then, Cas showing up, throwing Dean against the wall, pulling the knife
-"you said I'll never leave you alone": scene at the end of 5X04 when Cas pulls Dean back to the present and Dean puts his hand on Cas's shoulder
-"and every time I look at you, it's like the first time": scene from 4X01, where Dean actually sees Cas for the first time
I think this has the potential to be great. If someone out there actually knows how to make videos, then, please, have at it.
