I'm sorry that I have not been posting here for a long time- I have been busy with schoolwork and projects, and in the process- *hangs head in shame*- I actually neglected the awesomeness of one Cutler Beckett.

Oh my god, that is so precious! I love the way Jack's eyebrow is curling up almost desperately and Cutler just looks so content!

As for that shiny thing, I just asumed that it was some kind of filming equipment or something. I have no idea though *shrug*

Thanks so much! I'm glad that you liked it :) Although... as I was reading all the Speckett fics (and your amazing one as well)- I noticed that Beckett is usually always the submissive one while Jack is the dominant... I would really like to hear your (and anyone else) take on this :)

I read somewhere once that in m/m sex the bottom is really the one who's in control of the situation. It makes sense, since if the bottom isn't fully prepared & stretched etc, things can't really go ahead (unless that's the intent). I dunno, that idea just sort of stayed with me in terms of dominant & submissive. People often call the bottom submissive and the top dominant, but I don't know if that's actually the case, since the 'bottom' can sometimes be the one on top doing a lot of the work (of course, I have precisely zilch experience in the matter, aside from reading a few slash fics and a grand total of one website, so this should all be taken with a grain of salt ( ... )

Hm. In my view, I suppose, it's several factors (although there wasn't any thought involved, I just wrote things the way they were when I thought about it)
Beckett can't be a bossy little swine in every area of his life, and (in my fic) he's grown up with a horrible dad, so when he meets Jack and he's different and treats him nicely, he's happy to let him be in charge in bed, especially seeing as Jack has way more experience. (As a side note, I always percieved Jack as bisexual wheras Beckett's gay.) Aside from that, I never wrote them the other way about (although I considered it) because I don't think Jack would have it, and as for Beckett, I just think it (recieving) is something he'd enjoy. : )
How pervy does that sound?!

For such lovely art you shall have an answer!

The ball is a basically a reference tool for the light levels and reflections, so when effects need to be edited in or total CG actors like Jones are added in the animators can match the scene. ... I'm sure that there is some big long fancy name for it but I'm unsure what it is.

I think that you are an AMAZING writer... I read your entire Speckett fic, and it was very beautifully written... I couldn't sleep until I read the entire story. I would LOVE to do a trade with you- a drawing for a fic! What sort of picture would you like (as long as not too graphic), or I can also illustrate a scene from your fic too if you like :)

I have read Crossing the Water and All You Want... so beautifully written and believable- how you wrote their relationship is wonderful, you gave both their characters so much depth. The feelings, the personalities- reading your stories is really a pleasure.
