(no subject)
life is good. 2 out of the 4 standardized tests out of the way this week, which is pretty exciting. i only had the AP US history test and the dreaded SAT to knock out, then its smoooooth sailing for the rest of the year (with the exception of precalculus, which has successfully assured me that i am by no means a "math person").
last week, i saw guster at duke and it was (almost) everything i could have ever wanted out of them. the huge drunken college boys at duke were not only smelly and disgusting, but incredibly rude and inept with movement. guster was awesome though. my mom, however, did make me leave before they were done because she was "hungry". i don't know what kind of lame excuse that was, but i was not happy. matt costa and rozelle (sp?) opened for guster. matt costa was really good and has a song on the new jack johnson cd. rozelle was a rapper, so that was kind of weird, but entertaining nonetheless.
i LOVED chapel hill. i got that feeling of belonging and i know beyond a doubt in my mind that chapel hill is where i am supposed to be. now, all i have to do is get in. but oh my gosh, i loved it.
i have felt nauseous since saturday and that is far from what i call a good time. during the AP english exam, the words on the sheet in front of me literally began to dance.
in other news, i got asked to catholics prom today in a veryyy unique way and i'm really excited, so that's something to look forward to. myers park prom this weekend, after party at mi casa. should be a grand time.
i miss everyone, i've felt detached lately. we need to have one of those huge discussions with everyone and just talk like we used to back in the day, i feel so distant from all of you!
i'm in DESPERATE need of a haircut and the trim i gave my bangs the other night, i definitely regret that.
