DOA 3 and DOA 2 hardcore came out while I was in college. I played those games a lot. I also worked on campus, and spent a lot of time in North Philadelphia.  My wife recently got a job in North Philly, not two blocks south of our university.  I’ve also been playing a lot of DOA 5 recently.
