I know this Steel Train is gonna ride on til the end.
I finally got to see Steel Train live last night! It was amazing! They're so much fun live, and I had a blast!
They played with River City Extension, who I had never heard of, but they impressed the hell out of me, and The Get Up Kids, who I had heard of, but never really listened to. They both put on great shows, and The Get Up Kids played every song that I actually know by them, haha. I'll Catch You was like a campfire singalong, and they played Campfire Kansas, which I didn't actually know, but I now looove.
I didn't end up taking any pictures or anything, but I got autographs and got to meet half of River City Extension (they're a huuuge band), Jack and Evan from Steel Train and the lead singer and guitarist from Get Up Kids. And, like I said, I had a blast so it was worth the drive through Dallas, which is NEVER a fun time for me, and getting in at 2:30 AM.

I was trying to get another one up, but iTunes isn't cooperating. Maybe later. And my favorite song they played isn't on the CD I bought, so I'll have to do some digging for it, I think.
