The book I am currently reading: Fiction is "Watch me Disappear" by Jill Dawson (I read all sorts of books)
Non fiction is "Finding Sanctuary" by Father Christopher Jamison.
The book I love most: Impossible, there are so many books.
In terms of comfort reading, I nominate "The Custard Stops At Hatfield" by Kenny Everett. It acted as a
Stress reliever through many exams and was a great comfort during my years of teenage angst.
The last book I received as a gift: Night Watch, by Terry Pratchett. I've had a hiatus from Pratchett for several years, and have missed some of his more recent books as a result. After a good washout period, I enjoyed it more than I was expecting.
The last book I gave as a gift: Doctor Who Alien Sticker activity book (to a six year old who liked it!)
The nearest book: I'm sat next to the bookcase, so lots of kiddy books tie!
Joint first is Hairy Maclairy from Dobaldson's Dairy by Lynley Dodd, and Sing a Song of Bottoms by Jeanne Willis.
