Card Captor Sakura JP BD movie 2 + Nodame Cantabile Illustrations
Back in June, I didn't have it really clear if I wanted both dics, only one of them, or maybe even neither; but still, I actually pre-ordered both CCS BD movie 1 and CCS BD movie 2 from amazon.co.jp together (because they had advertised there were a limited time to pre-order the version which got the straps, that the limit was June 8th, which was untrue: it could be preordered till the day prior to the release) and 'left them aside' until I make a decision at a later date after thinking it over more, since amazon's system makes it so you don't pay for an item until they actually send it to you, and you can cancel whenever you want ^^
Later on in July, I was a bit disappointed to see the preview art which included only Sakura, but not surprised though, still I was of course wishing for an SxS art, and furthermore, I already own the DVD so I really hesitated for quite some time; but in the end, due to recent personal issues, I really felt the need to spoil myself without thinking it too much, so leaving the Artwork or Straps aside, I bought the one which I genuinely like best as an anime: movie 2, which is by the way not available anymore on amazon.jp already (so yeah, leaving the preordering issue aside, the whole 'limited edition' was actually quite truthful).
The price of CCS BD movie 1 limited edition increased a little bit (+700jpy) but it's still available for order at least.
The other reason I chose to get only one is very obvious: the price. I found myself in front of 2 choices at the end of August:
Choice 1: for both CCS movie 1 and 2, I would have payed 185 usd (shipping included)
Choice 2: for CCS movie 2 BD + Nodame Cantabile Illustrations + Blue Exorcist 2012 calendar (594*420)[pre-order] + Kiki Delivery Service 2012 desktop calendar [pre-order] , I would have to pay 204 usd (shipping included)
I love CCS and all, but the difference was just too big ^^; And the 2012 calendars are not something I can go without. That said both choices are obviously damn expensive ;__; But as said, I want to spoil myself and it's been a veeeeery long time since I've last purchased something from amazon.jp, so what the heck! :P
I hesitated about XXXholic postcard book, and am still hesitating, I might very well add it up to my order later maybe? But right now I really don't feel motivated to own it for some reasons...Very likely, I will only buy the future Artbook, which is the one truly worthy thing to own.

The mini Sakura strap was contained in the pink box you can see together inside the plastic wrap with the BD.
There is a 8 pages little book inside but there is really nothing noteworthy about it: a very simple/short presentation of the characters and cards followed by the 3 pages interview, I can't read japanese but it's not a clamp interview, I can only guess it must be the producers, animators or voice actors or something who worked on this animation.

About Nodame Cantabile Illustrations, this is going to be very short: BUY IT.
Well, if you actually know the series that is, if this title isn't familiar you can't get the artbook...yet! Start reading the manga and watching the anime! The drama is also pure love too!! Hurry! :D
This is a high quality artbook which is a 100% worth its price (1680jpy), the artworks are just a pleasure to look at, all of them, I really like the style of Ninomiya sensei, I always did! It's a sight for sore eyes >///<
You can of course pretty much find all the ilustrations onlin but, really, having the actual thing in your hands is a whole different experience all together,
The printing is just amazing, the paper quality is top notch, the whole thing is wonderful ^^ Most illustrations are the most recent ones/from the latest volumes/chapters of course, since the previous ones can be found in the CD Selection Book 1-2-3 (which I need to buy too eventually by the way).
Both the covers ones and the last pic of the book were done specially for this release from what I could see.
And what a coincidence! At the end of the artbook, Ninomiya sensei wrote a message to the readers, and it was dated of March 18th, my birthday! teehee~ It feels like it was dedicated to me on that day XD
