Our PTO has had a facebook page for awhile but it seems like this is the first year they are really actually using it... except its always an AFTER the fact post. Like "Hey, look how much fun we had at [insert activity here] today!" along with a picture. Would be nice if they could say a few days before hand "Hey, we're going to do [insert activity here] if anyone would like to join us." Its just all very click-y though. And I dont have time for PTO drama - I have enough drama at work LOL

The dance school we go to doesnt do the Christmas parade, which I was a little upset with at first... but that's only cause it was nearly 60 degrees out this year LOL Last year for the parade it was 20 degrees out so I'm glad they do the winter recital instead!

Maddie ended up spending $16 out of the $20 I gave her (which reminds me now... she never gave me the change. She probably stuck it in her piggy bank LOL). While $16 isnt bad overall, I was a little disappointed in the crap she came home with. $3 for this little (like palm size) stuffed ball for Sarah. A #1 Dad mini chip clip for 3 bucks. She spent 2 bucks on slime for herself. I cant remember what she got Sophia, but it was more junk. I could have taken her to the store and spent $16 on some half way decent stuff. But she got to do her own shopping which she loved... even if the stuff she brought home does make me cringe.
