REALLY long time, no update
Wow! This year has been insane already! Sorry about not updating at all for such a long time. I got back to the SBC area on the 15th of August and things have been non-stop ever since. Here's an update on a couple things going on in my life:
1) Cheering isn't as scary as I thought it would be. Granted, we lost two awesome girls who aren't coming back to SBC at all, and one who isn't coming back until the spring, but it all worked out. :) Tryouts were last night and 9 out of 13 girls who tried out made it and all of them have a lot of potential. I'm very excited! Hopefully, we won't have any problems with people wanting to drop out and not take responsibility, etc etc. I think it'll all be ok in the end.
2) Sweet Spirits has been a really great experience for me. I love all the girls I work with, Pat, and Chap soooo much! Everyone is so awesome and they really care about helping everyone out, especially when someone is having a problem. I feel very priveleged to be a part of such a great group of people. :)
3) Hopefully, Sweet Tones will work out as well as Cheering did. It doesn't seem like we have very much interest for tryouts. :-/ I hope that everyone is just kinda waiting til the last minute to sign up. Maybe that's not the case, but I'm hoping that more people sign up and tryout because we really need some more singers this year.
4) I can't wait to pick CM babies and tap them! Casey and I are sharing a baby and I'm gonna tell you something about her: THIS GIRL IS GOING TO BE SPOILED! I'm going to love her to bits! I love getting babies!
5) Speaking of babies, Kendra said she'd walk with me for Founder's Day! :) I love my ST baby! She's the bestest!
That's pretty much it right now other than my four, YES FOUR, English classes I'm taking, a Latin American Studies class (just so I'm not taking all English classes), Voice lessons, and Choir. Yep, so that's it. I think I might hemmorage in a few weeks. I don't think I've ever had this much responsibility on my plate before. It's insanity. Anyway, hopefully I won't have to wait another month and a half to update again. :)
