That book sounds like a great idea. I'd love to get that for my dad, too. I don't really believe that "everything happens for a reason," but I DO believe that we become stronger, better people because of the things we have to suffer through. Unfortunately death is a part of this game we call life. I've seen too many of my family members go far before their time. But if nothing else, it makes me appreciate my own life and take advantage of my time here, and it also makes other trivial life crap not seem half as tragic.
