Answering the phone is fun
I picked the phone up yesterday to a very aggravated lady. "I have been trying to get through to your London store but no one is answering the phone!"
"I'm sorry about that," I replied, "how can I help you?"
"I want to know why they are not answering the phone!"
"I'm sorry, I don't know."
"Why not?"
"Because London is 250 miles away."
"Well, that's not a good enough reason not to know!"
*hangs up*
So, I am very sorry that I cannot magically tell what is going on somewhere far away. It's terrible of me, I know.
