Guys, how would you interpret this letter from an employer?
"Her monthly salary is $1783.33, which is paid semi-monthly."
Because apparently if your processing department interprets that as, "she is paid $1783.33, semi-monthly," (totallying $3566.66/month), which is pretty much what the letter says, you are a fucking idiot.
Edit: I guess this needs clarification. With our company, you don't have to send in your total monthly income. If you're paid weekly, semi-monthly, bi-weekly, or monthly, you can send in the information that way and we'll convert it to monthly income.
Also, I just had a caller who said that she is filling out the application, and wants to know whether she is applying for partial or full benefits because one of the sections says that if you're only applying for partial benefits, you may skip this section.
I was confused. We don't offer partial benefits.
I pulled up the application, and finally realized that what she was reading stated that, "If you are only applying for perinatal benefits, you may skip this section. I had to put her on hold from laughing so hard.
