The revolution will not be televised (well, maybe a little)

I think this may be the first time in my adult life I have felt good about a president elect, and only the second time I've ever backed a winner. It feels like a revolution. All the horn honking and people screaming on street corners last night certainly helped that feel as well. It was just awesome driving home through Mt. O. Now the practical side of me knows there is only so much they can do without some agency putting a bullet in him (its happened enough times before), but I'm going to allow myself some hope and feel optimistic about the future for the first time in a decade. Its nice. Its been missed.

Too bad about prop 8 though. Another win for fear and bigotry. Just another reminder that the war is never won through complacency. Obama does not have the power to set everything right alone. Activism should be encouraged to an all time high as now is the environment to best support it.
