Terror Has No Shape
This quote from the entry about the 1988 remake of The Blob shows what I love about Wikipedia:
"A small meteorite falls to earth near the town of Arborville, Colorado. An elderly transient discovers, within the hollow sphere, a bizarre, jelly-like substance (the Blob) which attaches itself to his hand. Three high-schoolers, punk Brian Flagg (Kevin Dillon), cheerleader Meg Penny (Shawnee Smith) and her footballer-date Paul (Donovan Leitch), encounter the fleeing man and take him to a local hospital."
I love how it refers to The Blob in parentheses on first reference, as if it's a member of the cast.
