Don't Stop Believin' -- That A Show Can Fix Mistakes

Jun 10, 2010 01:43

So even though I've been very frustrated with the general direction of Glee, I will fully admit that I teared up during the season finale.

I'm a sucker for adorable/sad/wheretheheckdidthatcomefromohwaitthat'srightidon'tcare moments.

But usually I do care.

So after quite a few... I'm just gonna come out and say it... BAD episodes, this one was closer to being what I was looking for -- and what I had seen in the Pilot and the first half of the season.

I would like to point out that many people I talk to actually did believe that the first half (done in 2009) was indeed the first season all on it's own. I quickly pointed out two important details.

1) This is a popular show. It has already been picked up for a SEASON 3. So no, FOX would never have just 13 episodes. It's not like Glee is produced by Joss Whedon or anything.

2) While there are 'seasons' in the traditional sense (and occasionally networks like to screw with our minds), the Season 1 of Glee was not said to have ended in December. And they call themselves fans... Psht.

As previously mentioned, I have some issues with the way Glee is being handled right now. I'll probably expand on those later. But for now, I'll leave you with Ken Tucker's fixes for Glee.
