(no subject)
I know I complain about this a lot, but not being 21 is stupid! I am not going to go to bars and get belligerent, I just want to be able to socialize with my friends...I mean, I handled it perfectly fine in Australia! Not needing to ask/call people to buy me alcohol would be nice too! ... and I have a bad feeling that this summer is going to suck a lot of nights b/c pretty much everyone is 21! ok well, enough complaining!
Happy news: I AM FINISHED FOR THE SUMMER :) YAY!
I had a research paper due this morning and took a final- I decided at 3am to take the final today instead of doing a research paper for Monday...the test was great, to say the least, since I thought I didn't really have to pay attention or take notes b/c I was going to do the paper... whatever though! We also had our intro. to woodwinds band concert- I was a little embarassed, but at the same time didn't care that much...it was more just funny! the band got so off during Kumbaya, I just started laughing in the middle of it! and there was a not so great trio performance, but hey- they tried. We performed outside and it was SO hot...everyone was wiping away sweat the whole time- ok, I may have been the only one needing to wipe it away, but...
So, yeah, busy busy day...after all that school stuff, I went running, to the grocery store to get Tiek a bday cake, to art hop, which was really nice- we saw our friend's (Hans) photography exhibit and there was good free food...then it was Tieneke's birthday potluck! I love Tieneke- she kept telling me how hot I was in my zebra dress :)
I'm pretty tired after about 5 hrs. of unrestful sleep...I kept dreaming awful things about my final- I think this is the first time in over a year I've actually worried about school stuff... so I guess it's a good thing I'm not 21 so I can just go to bed (or not b/c there's basically a party going on in my hall- loud!)
oooh I can move into my house now!
a week or less left with all of my K friends :( I'm scared...
