I swear, people in Maryland will take any excuse to panic, and buy the same few things for everything they panic about.
--"OMG, my friend at NASA says we're going to get five feet of snow! Gotta buy milk, bread, and toilet paper!"
--"OMG, we're going to get hit by a hurricane! Gotta buy milk, bread, and toilet paper!"
--"OMG, Al Qaida is going to hit New York and DC again! Gotta buy milk, bread, and toilet paper!"
Now, granted, after the first few days, they changed to shopping list appropriately for the hurricane, but seriously, why do you need to panic shop for a terrorist threat that's not even going to affect you?
Tonight's going to be another hellish night at work. I suppose at least we should be glad that somebody didn't start up the "duct tape and plastic" thing again.
