So I caved and bought this baby. Do I regret it? NOPE. After trying many by the suggestion of others, I gave up and just shelled out the dough for this one. Also, I tried the one with pins on the plate that someone in here suggested and it just kind of tangled my hair: I couldn't get it through. I'm telling you, I've got SPIRALS, sharp turns and twists included.
I haven't straightened my whole head yet because I will just sweat it out with dance class, but I did do half in like 5-10 minutes. It is the lightest flat iron in the world, it heats up in 10 seconds (they say 20-30 but they are totally not giving this thing credit) AND it has the smoothest plates ever. It doesn't snag AT ALL. It glides down my hair, adds a little shine, and makes me want to pose in front of the mirror and flip my hair. I was late to school that morning because I was so amazed.
