My hair grows so ridiculously fast! My hair grew out 3 inches in three months! I keep track of my roots to figure that out. So I know if I ever decide to grow my hair back it won't take too long. Anyway, the negative to long curls is the fact that it gets so heavy and hot!
Before my hair stylist suggested it, I'd never heard of it being done on curly hair either! I'm really really happy with it and she did an excellent job on it.
I really like it, I just cust my hair similar to that. What do you use though, shampoo/conditioner wise, and then product wise because your curls look really seperated and defined, mine dont as much.
I would never take the time to do that! That would be so insane! My hair is just naturally this curly, it has been actually for all my life. I just let it air dry.
Shampoo I use pantene for red hair and the conditioner as well. So that won't help much for curls, I don't use any curl shampoos or conditioners. Then as gross as it could sound, I only use shampoo once a month. I use conditioner every other day at least. I do a lot of deep conditioning as well. Then for a product I use a really really cheap gel, it costs about $2 and it comes in a huge container. It works amazingly well on my hair. You can get it at Wal-Mart, it's like La Bella or La Belle. It's very pink and says curls on it. It doesn't leave color deposites in my hair at all so don't worry about the pink tint.

i am so jealous of your long curls though, mainly because mine seem to refuse to grow past my shoulders!
