Winter Break in Review
so i really had been meaning to update about specific events after they had happened, bbuuutttttttt, as u all know, just i never got to it. oops! so now, for ur reading pleasure, an abbreviated version of my glorious winter break, and a few events leading up to and following it.
++++++ The night of rebellion in 119 kicked ass! haha, such good times (happy trail!!)
------- Finals basically sucked... a lot. i kicked ass on my Drafting project and just spent too much time on it. needless to say, i have learned my lesson. *sigh*
+++ Despite their ^ suckiness, my awesome roomies did all they could to help me out, and i love them for it!
++++++++++ Going home was ssssoooooooo wonderful!
++++++++ Chilled w/ Kat in Portsmouth one night during a fountain event and had such a great time shopping and discovering a wicked cool diner!
++++/---- Started working @ Swan right away; it was great to be back w/ old friends, but some of the new people just didn't fit right, as in they were rude to customers and definately not working fast enough during the Christmas rush
++++++++++++++ i got to see my BEST FRIENDS!!!!!!:)
+++++++ F5 group chats online
++++++++++ FINALLY getting Outback and rockin out w/ the F5 @ Mary's house; giggling abounded
+++++++ Watched Degrassi & Napoleon Dynamite w/ Mary (Jeff was there but did not enjoy it, weirdo)
++++++ Ed's Christmas Party was a very good time! Even tho we took our lives in our hands to get there
------- i had to work at the mall on Christmas Eve
++++++++++/-- Christmas Day was the best!!! (Midnight mass was not so fun)
++++++ Saw lots of movies w/ the fam and friends which made be ever so happy!
+++++/----- New Year's Eve had it's ups and downs, but overall it was a good time yielding many fabulous pictures
++++/---- My 3 week internship was a great learning experience, and despite the fact that it was boring at times, i met some good people and walked away w/ lots of useful magazines and some insight in my field
+++++ The New-New Year's was a rollicking good time w/ the F5, as we amused ourselves for 45 minutes by simply taking some of the best pictures, haha! The 'Singles Handshake' was also created!
+++ We went to four restaraunts in one night and amused ourselves by shouting "quickpose!"
-------- My roomies and i were unable to get together for the weekend we'd planned in each person's town b/c Rach's car broke
+++++++++ Mary's awesome mystery dinner rounded out our time together! We had ssooooo much fun drawing, eating, and talking. O and the 'T4' dressing up was quite amusing as well!
++++++/- Family dinner @ Zigarella's the Friday before i left! the only reason i include 1 minus is b/c my sister shared some saddening news w/ me (brace urselves)- Jonathan Brandiis, of Ladybugs and Seaquest fame, committed suicide a few years back! So sad! There were other options Jonathan!
well i think that's about everything! i'm sure i forgot a few things here and there, but u get the general gist that this was one of the best breaks ever!
School has been pretty good so far. i was dreading coming back, due to the hell that was last semester and its unsatisafactory results, but i just keep praying for less stress so i can actually enjoy myself this semester and do some fun stuff instead of just working and sleeping.
it's so great to be back in 119 too! Fun times have already ensued w/ my crazy girls ("Jackie u want a boy from Noah's school?" "No! i'm setting her up w/ the guy in my Forensics class!") And the quote wipeboard is already filling up w/ such gems as "You sit on a throne of LIES!" & more recently "Well, i don't know if my abilities can do that, but i can try!" haha! such good times! Despite the fact that our room is once again an ICEBOX! We can't win- it's either extreme heat or extreme cold! geesh!
well Alias is on and that requires my full attention. O and i have some homework that i need to do as well... haha, o priorities! i'll do a picture update as soon as i can!
