Tonight as an appetizer for dinner I had half a garden cucumber picked this afternoon.
Tonight for dinner I had a big bowl of steamed green beans, picked this afternoon.
I currently have a big vat of greens (kale, chinese cabbage, collards, radish, parsley..) boiling away for soup stock.
I love summer. I want a bigger garden.
Now, if the sun would just farking STAY OUT, perhaps the peppers, tomatoes and zuchhini would get to growing. Stupid wettest summer in Providence's record keeping history. bleh.
