Girls who like boys who like boys who like girls

I'm in my new apartment. It's going on two weeks old. Holy crap it's amazing.

This week we have this fellow named Max sleeping on our couch. With Max comes John, his adorable friend. He's been over every night that Max has been here. Tonight he was here before Max. And he's very nice to me, and he gets drunk each time he's here. The circumstances are ideal, but I work full time, and I fall asleep shortly after he arrives. Life is not fair.

I finally spoke to my bus crush Mitch yesterday. He works in the same building as me, different company. He wasn't great enough to make me want to ride the bus much more though. Unfortunately, though people are quite polite on the bus, every time I walk in the city I get whistled at, hollared at, or just plain waved at. And the busses themselves don't really run a tight enough schedule to be completely reliable. I've been inviting Malcolm to hang out with us lately so he'll drive me home. Now my other two roommates are starting at Lionsgate for Tuesdays and Thursdays, and Nichole most likely has an internship across from Lionsgate Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays! So it looks like I can carpool from here on out and put my bus money towards paying back gas.

Sharing a room with Mark is going alright. He sleeps right through me showering and getting ready, so no awkwardness there!

For having really first spoken to Malcolm last Tuesday, we are becoming fast friends. I'm so weirded out by it. Not weeks ago I was convinced he was the biggest jerk in my class, but he's not so bad. He's oblivious to ever having been mean or condescending to me, so I guess I can't blame him? I don't know.

The other two acquisition interns, Brad and Eric, are hilarious. I love them. They're friends and roommates, so there's that chemistry. We three got free passes to see "The Descent" at the LA Film Festival. They were so scared. It was too cute. I saw Ryder Strong (Boy Meets World) at the screening. He wasn't scared at all. As Brad said, "Sean Hunter took it like a man."

So those are all the men in my life right now. No clear prospects. Not that I'd tell anyone if there were. I think I just want to be social this summer. I'm in the perfect position to be. We have five people living here, and our sixth is going to change weekly, it sounds. The place is crowded with activity. All the NU kids in LA want to hang out with each other, for no reason other than we all go to the same school. I love it!
