second round of chemo
I got an earlier appt. 8 am Tues. I brought a yoga bolster since I'm short and don't fit in their giant recliners. The bolster behind my back worked out perfectly.
Seven hours again. Boring but otherwise fine. They don't hurt me. I just sit for 7 hours. Peeing is a nuisance because I have to unplug my infuser, and roll it with me to the bathroom and when I am done plug it back in. With all the tubes and wires, it really is a nuisance.
Came home Tues feeling fine.
Wednesday I felt fine. At 6 p.m. my Neulasta selfinfuser started pumping in a drug that makes my bone marrow make red cells, white cells, and antibodies. This is the one that makes me ache for four days.
Today is Thurs and everything hurts. As expected. I got a script for Hydrocodone to help me for these four days. If I can't sleep tonight I'll dig in.
