I recently wrked for a week for a old couple. The lady was Geramn. Had to take her grocery shopping for her bread! I was told that her love for breads was a German trait. Is this so? I am part German & have a love for bread - is this why? some part of my upbringing because fresh, flavorful breads were part of every family occassion & were even "Gifts". A "treat" from my grandfather would be a peice of his fresh pizza, cheese or cinnamon bread with some butter on it. Is it some part of German upbringing thats gotten passed down from generation to generation? I love the smell, the variety - the making or even SELECTION of bread. I find it halarious now that its been pointed out to me - yet all that much more acceptable to enjoy as a tradition of generations. ok - the end of that...NEXT:
