Of a growing young man - and pie!
I'm sorry - I am not being a good LJ friend at the moment - I have sort of got out of the habit of posting and reading, after a couple of weeks or more when I hardly had the time.
So - a few pictures as a catch-up;
NYK1 had his 16th birthday! It seems like no time since he looked like this (aged 11) -
Or even this (aged 8) -
And suddenly he is old enough to vote, and this is his birthday present -
But as he is currently doing GCSEs lessons will have to wait a while.
No picture of the birthday boy - he is a bit camera shy these days!
I went out last week for a meal with friends - and remembered to take a picture of my pudding.
I think Views here in the village make the best lemon meringue pie ever! Their confectioner is part of the family and bakes everything from fresh each day, and the pie is really lemony.
I have at least 3 things half-knitted, I have been busy sorting out travel and hotels for S2C and I as we go on holiday in 3 weeks time, and went out into the garden today and took a few pictures. To get back in the rhythm of things I will post those tomorrow. Also to get back into the rhythm of things I have promised myself that I will finish the half-written chapter of Going Home. And now that it is in writing I had better get on with it!
