In a long reply to a comment of epiphyta on the first chapter of "Going Home (to a place we've never been before)" I said

I have just done the 'check spelling and preview' on this comment and the list of options it gives for all the names is hilarious.I said I would post some of the highlights - it's just taken me a few days longer than planned

Some of these names sound like a few of the untraditional names that modern parents would pick. Melbourne and Gladioli call their daughter Celebrate and then she and her husband Orlando call their twin boys Aladdin and Aloha. They have a bit more difficulty with their daughter but eventually settle on Arena! These days that’s not so unlikely :)

Having since run 'Aragorn' through the same LJ spellchecker, I can exclusively disclose that Arena will have a long and difficult relationship with Paragon :)

This is the first time I heard that Maglor was Hungarian. Because yes, Magyar is what we call ourselves in our own tongue. *g*

Oh, and since my spellcheck is Hungarian by default (unless I reset it, which I sometimes forget), it produces hilarious results when I write in simple English. For example, whenever I write "little", it wants to correct to "lifttel", which means "with the elevator".
