Weekly View from the Window Post, and lunch out.
This morning it was grey and raining heavily - it definitely felt like autumn. I was due to meet my friend Chris, who is the NYM's mother, for lunch and it looked as if it would be gloomy. Except by 12MD the sun suddenly came out - here is a picture of where we had lunch
I took the picture from where I parked the car, we walked over the bridge to the building you can see, which is a small tea room, and had a lovely lunch and a long time chatting.
I took the out the window pictures when I got home -
Out the front -
You can see how lovely the sky was - so I took the second picture with a bit more sky than I often do -
And here are the pictures from the kitchen window -
There is still colour - and there will be more as the two roses near the window both have buds again :)
And here is a bonus picture of one of the nasturtiums which are still flowering, mainly behind the vegetable bed where they are hidden by the rigging and the sweet peas.
