An end to Christmas

D-d news first; the house move has been put on hold - it may well wait until after the 3 week lockdown. The 4 of them are fine with this although NYK1 complains so much of his stuff is in boxes already that he can hardly move in his room :) They called here this evening, before lockdown starts at 12MN, to leave some of their Lego ships as these are in danger of being damaged during packing, and pick up a couple of extra masks as we now need to wear them whenever we are out, and until now we have not needed to.

I have spent much of the day between working out how to get videos from Messenger onto my laptop drive, making new masks, and taking down decorations, bagging and boxing them and remembering to label everything for next year!

I have finally managed to get my friend's videos of the Nativity Service on to the Church Facebook page - tomorrow I will see if I can remember how to get them onto YouTube :) Hopefully I will also catch up on my FL then, too - apologies for being behind.

I didn't go shopping - we will be fine for a couple of days and people have been going stupid with buying everything is sight in the supermarkets going by the pictures on FB. I have no idea why, as the food shops are remaining open but... people.

In the meantime here are pictures of a few of our glass decorations from the tree. I have already posted them at photo_scavenger so some of you may well have seen them before;

There are somewhere between 40 & 50 glass ornaments on the tree and all of them get wrapped in bubble wrap before they go into a wicker hamper until December :)

christmas, the plague, family
