Storm Blog, part 2.
Good morning! And it is a good morning- dry, patches of blue sky, and only a bit of a breeze.
According to our local news at least 100 trees came down, people's sheds were blowing around, as were roof slates here and there, there were 30+ power outages, but no-one was hurt.
Here is someone's video of the north end of Douglas Promenade where the road leads up towards Onchan, where we live, taken last night -
The webcams show a much calmer sea already (just rough, becoming moderate by mid morning) - although I'm still glad I'm not on the boat, which sailed at 8.45am this morning.
