Well, another year is upon us. For me, this last one had to be the most bizarre and odd yet. Last semester was the most irritating yet, but I did rather well. I still hear from my ex after 1 year and 8 months, although I think I've finally pissed him off for a while. My dad broke his ribs, my sister is having some sort of cardiac problem, and my grandfather passed away just before fall semester started. I've went from looking forward to turning 21 to just about swearing off alcohol completely (a bit of a long story, one to be asked). In this year, I now have considerations for not only going on to graduate school but also teaching, both I never thought I'd consider. One influence of this is the advisor of an organization I'm in, a person I have grown to have deep respect for. This person has made me see the importance of observation and of management, as well as the glory of a good experiment.
Anyway, there's probably more to add but I think I will cut this short. I hope everyone had a lovely holidays and a new year of good fortune.
