♥ Your cupcake history: I got into baking after taking a six month leave off of school and found it to be the perfect parallel for my personality. Cupcakes were the first thing I tackled because they were simple, sweet and the perfect pick-me-up that almost everyone enjoys. That was two years ago, and I'm still baking regularly today. I'm even toying with the idea of going to culinary school. :>
♥ Why you like cupcakes: What's not to love? Cupcakes are like sugary kisses - they're portable, the kind of treats that you can just throw in your mouth to instantly brighten up your day, but they're elegant. Cupcakes are like the proverbial little black dress - they're a girls best friend, the lowest common denominator of baking, and can easily be dressed up for a high-society cocktail party or fluffed and sweetened for sugar-coated get togethers.

My most recent batch of lip-smacking lovelies, made earlier today. They're a simple vanilla cake with chocolate buttercream icing and half the batch was decorated with purple confetti. Tres chic!
