My boy's 2nd Birthday
My baby boy Liam turned 2 yesterday *sniff*
All kinds of friends were turning out for his birthday party, the house was just as full as the hospital was when I went into labor (he's got lots of adopted aunts and uncles, godfathers and godmothers). So I knew one cake wasn't going to do....so in honor of starting the terrible twos, I made him cupcakes...
...6 dozen to be exact. I baked all day on Friday morning/early afternoon and decorated well into the evening. Three flavors of cupcakes, three colors of icing, all homemade or tweaked in some major way. I was exausted but it was well worth it.
I only have my phone pics currently, his godfather was manning the real camera at the party so I could help him with his gifts...so I apologise for the poor quality.
First the gifts...or rather, the tissue paper...we loves the tissue paper.
Then the cupcakes....
Pumpkin with Creamcheese Icing (these were the biggest hit of the party both with cherries and without)

As you can tell by the green face...Liam liked the pumpkin best LOL
So tired right now...running after a sugar giddy 2 year old is hard work...i'm getting to old for this.
