another lurker joins!
I've been happily lurking here for a couple of weeks like a lot of the other new members.
I've actually been pretty down for the past few months, and this community inspired me to start baking again.
It seems silly, but baking cupcakes/planning cupcakes/thinking about new recipes has made the happiest I've been in a while.
Anyway, I've tried to get some friends hooked on baking as well. So we had our first meeting of the cupcake club last night. We're going to get together and bake/decorate every week!

They are star-shaped red velvet cupcakes with whipped cream cheese frosting in blue, red, and white with varous sprinkles and silly designs.
