Today was my day to sleep in. Did I? NO! I woke up the same time as I always do. So instead of rotting my brain on TV I thought I'd post another update. In my last posting I was trying to avoid all the pleating i needed to do. Well most of it's done. I ended up pleating over 500" of silk just to make a trim to go around the bustle drape.

This is my very first dress Diary. I'm pretty excited about it. I hope you enjoy.

I am working on a Victorian Bustle dress for the summer. I've got so many things I'll be able to use it for. After lots of searching, I found an image I really liked:

So from now on.. i'm using patterns for me. After two bodices didn't quite do it, I'm spending the money. Well not right now, gotta wait till payday. I have a think in July. I'm helping greenepona make her birthday dress. And i'm making a bustle dress. I want to go with Truly Victorian patterns 460, 261 and 365. SO.. I found this great Victorian "sporty" dress. It's in the Kyoto Fashion Book. It's awesome! ONLY they just show the back. Now, I know i can make an educated guess as to what it looks like, but I just wanna seeeeeeee it!!! Just an image. Hell, a description would be great.
