BEER ME!!!
Happy July. Holy crap is this year going fast, why does that happen at times? One day it's February 4th and the next it's July 4th! Crazy.
This weekend is going to be a blast! Cookout tonight and then the beer tent at a local festival with my band peeps! Tomorrow will be chill until the evening hours in which I'm trekking down to Summerfest to meet up with my girl Jen who's only in town for a day. Gonna try not to crash her family time but I need to get some Jen hugs before she hops back on a plane! I love me some Jen P <3 and I'm glad we can at least hang for a little bit. I miss that girl like CRAZY! Sunday is more Summerfest as we'll be seeing our friends MadamAdam and Halestorm perform so that'll be more fun. I have off Monday so I think I'll be hanging with my Pea MJ for most of the day, we need a chill day together so that'll be perfect!
I usually go all out for the 4th celebration but I'm too busy this year, not to mention I don't have the $200 to spend on fireworks...yes that was the total for last year's display but it was worth every penny! I feel like I'm letting the folks on the lake down by not having a show this year, they say I always blow everyone else out of the water and in the past several years have actually started to go out on the lake on their pontoons to get the best view. That makes me smile. Hope someone else can give them a decent show this year!
Other than that things are decent. Random family issues but that'll never go away. So for right now, I can't really complain and that's a good thing. Now I need to focus on getting myself into ROCK STAR mode for the weekend...have a blast people =]
