More dead
I saw in the news the other day that a helicopter in Afghanistan crashed, killing all 17 (really 16) onboard. I like most really didn't give it much thought...until a day after when I saw that 8 special forces members were on the helicopter. since my brother is a member of the group that was killed, obviously the story became interesting. luckily though, he is on rotation--and not out of the country--but safe in NJ painting my mom's house.
I'm amazed that Bush can still get on TV, like he did a couple of days ago, and attempt to make a connection between 9/11 and the war that continues. Nor can I believe that he continues to tell us that by fighting the war, we are making America safer. Hmmm, exactly how is killing a bunch of ppl in Iraq making us safer? I would hope that American's by now would see that Bush is an idiot and arrogant...but apparently that's not the case...it seems many American's are actually idiot's themselves...and still believe Bush's rhetoric. How sad!
