aigooism and I were thinking of possibly starting up our own fic exchange. We're both veterans of the HP fandom and we've both participated in countless fic exchanges. I've run fic exchanges before in other fandoms ( Read more... )

Other comments: any time after November (aka NaNoWriMo) is good for me.

I had an idea once for a "Nightmare before Christmas" - sort of a darkfic + holiday exchange.

slaaaaaaaaaaavefic.

I wouldn't mind rarepairs, but I'd have a hella hard time writing with lesser known characters like Susan Bones or Blaise Zabini as a main character. I'd prolly insist on being able to have at least one character be Snape or something :3

XD Well, that's the thing, we would include Snape, but we just probably wouldn't have Snarry or something that's popular XD We haven't quite figured out the exact list yet except that the canon pairings would definitely be bye bye. We're not saying for you to use really rare characters like Susan Bones, but if you can come up with Severus/A Lestrange, that'd be a rare pairing! XD

Yeah, we were a bit concerned about that. It does seem like just about every fic exchange in the HP fandom has been done already though! Personally, I'd love a Harry/Lucius exchange but I doubt many people would sign up. This poll is partially to see if there are any exchanges that people have always wanted but haven't been created yet. :)

I'd be modding that by myself, I think though. *g* I don't think aigooism is big on Lucius. If this doesn't pan out, I would do it though! I ♥ Harry/Lucius.

Sorry, I got confused with Primeval - but there aren't enough fics set in the 80s (post Marauder/pre-PS) so 'neglected era' fic might be a possibility (see also 1940s/1100s...)

But you don't want to listen to me - I've sworn off exchanges for 2010...
